I’m the director of the Wanawake kwa Wanawake Centre in Kibera.  This means I work with the women, children and families on a daily basis, as well as reporting back to those of our group in Australia.

I like working for and with Wanawake kwa Wanawake mainly because it directly involves working with poor children and adults. The mission and the vision of the organisation inspires me.

Wanawake Kwa Wanawake is an organisation that I am proud to be associated with because it offers me the challenge to grow in sensitivity and awareness of the needs in our society today. Working in WKW has sincerely opened my heart and mind to the needs in the society.
